July 2023 | The most personalized wedding weekend! Intimate, mimosa-filled brunch wedding draped with whimsical greenery, and a second reception location for dancing and Texas BBQ. | Photo By Tori Osteraa | Everyone in the family said that Maria and Campbell were destined to be. People came from all over - Boston, Texas, Scotland - to see these two make it official and you could just feel all the love and energy from everyone. Maria and Campbell not only hosted a wedding, but a welcome party, brunch, delayed reception and scavenger hunt of their favorite things to do in Seattle. The ceremony took place mid-to-late morning at the Olympic Rooftop Pavilion, followed by a mimosa-filled brunch. They had about a 2 hour gap until they moved the party over to Cathedral for a Texas BBQ reception, just 0.3 miles away. Maria and Campbell are the perfect example to show that your wedding day and even wedding weekend doesn't have to follow a traditional template. August 2022 | From park to concert venue - a party full of entertainment, featuring a jewel-toned color palette, shaved ice, fire entertainment, caricature portraits, a CO2 cannon and lots of headbanging. | Photo By Marissa Solini Photography | Elsa and Jack threw the biggest party of their and their friends lives full of memorable events, entertainment, and color. We had such a blast helping them will full service planning, from helping to find their killer vendor team to guiding them to the eclectic and colorful design that really reflected Elsa and Jack and fit the uniqueness of the McMenamin's venue. The day started with a romantic and quiet first look at their rooftop Airbnb in Portland. Thanks to First Student Transportation, E&J and their wedding party rode in style to their next destination: Cathedral Park. Officiant Jimmie wrote the most beautiful ceremony script that had people asking "where did you know him from?" They sealed it with a shot, shaved ice, and a fire performance while we set up at Crystal Ballroom. When guests entered into the Crystal Ballroom, that's when the party began. Caricature artist, foosball, a photo booth, and the best custom signature drinks welcomed guests, and the night really kicked off with their balloon drop at the end of their first dance. May | Vibrant and modern eclectic spring wedding with a lime green, pink, and lavender color palette stylish but laidback feel to their wedding. | Photo By Lauren Miles Photography | Fun, ecclectic and modern - Cassandra and Michael had STYLE! Their lime green, pink, and lavender color palette and messy-style handwritten signs brought a stylish but laidback feel to their wedding. It was truly a vision! Cassandra herself is a creative architect, so naturally their wedding had plenty of creative touches. We loved the eclectics vintage table settings, the curated vases & vessels, the custom match books, the handmade signs and handwritten fonts, the floral linens ... and goats! One of their priorities was to avoid moments where guests are awkwardly waiting. Portland Goat Parties, good food, and a timeline that didn't keep the couple away for too long keep guests entertained the whole night. We have to admire their attention to detail. It's a lot to trust someone with your vision on your wedding day. When we have couples like Cassandra and Micheal who have a lot of personal decor and a clear vision, we use our Decor and Rental Instruction sheet so we know exactly what items you want to go in specific places, and offer to use our creative expertise when you aren't sure what the final vision is to style your wedding. August | A beautiful wedding beneath the oak trees at Linfield University's campus in McMinnville, Oregon with local vendors. | Photo By Emily Vandehey | A college campus is not your typically wedding venue, but Allyson and CJ transformed Linfield University's beautiful campus into a backyard-like wedding with a dusty blue theme. The campus has a historic oak grove that made for a perfect setting, and the lighting installation, rented backdrops, and dance floor, it made the space feel complete. Weddings are that much more special when the location has a significant meaning. The bride herself is from McMinnville, Oregon, went to Linfield and loves the community she grew up in. They built their wedding dream team primarily with local vendors: from our McMinnville-local planner, Shannon, to the Third Street-based florist, to the chef at Linfield itself. Anywhere can be a venue with the right resources, rentals and logistics planning! A&C trusted us and selected our Signature Package to help work out the little details and flow of the day, bounce budget questions off of, recommend vendors for the few they hadn't booked yet, and ultimately ensure the day ran smoothly. Check it out! Before the new 2023 Barbie movie trailer released, we were already thinking about a fun and unique design to bring to the open and neutral space, Everett West, for the Venue Crawl. We wanted the design to be something different and colorful (the trend for 2023) and make the Barbie world a space for all people, not just Barbie girls. This design wouldn't have made such a lasting impression if it were for the little details and activities that you don't see at your average wedding. Here's some of our favorite elements: A ceremony designed to make everyone feel a part of it The most DREAMY pink wedding dress Place cards inspired by the Barbie logo and brand The selfie station that everyone loved Sweets, sweets and more sweets! Barbie-Inspired Wedding Reception Tables This Design featured three different Barbie-inspired wedding tablescapes, each with a node to the Barbie-World and featuring pinks of all kinds. The first is more of a neutral setting with gold accents and bubbly candy sticks to bring in a bit of personality. The second features more pops of hot pink and a light-up neon pink table number - LOVE! - and bubble cut placecards with Barbie font. The third features a heart-shaped napkin fold that we bet your guests have never seen before, and the cutest, custom toy favors - some real 90's nostalgia. Details Details Details! We're all about the guest experience, so we wanted this design to feature interactive elements that will make sure your guests never forget your wedding day. Selfie stations, cotton candy, s'mores station, candy bar (can you tell we like dessert?), photo booth, and a cute lounge to step away and talk about it all. June 2023 | When a wedding photographer gets married, you have to do it right. Khali and Ryan spent so much love and care on the details - weaving pieces of their love and life together throughout this stunning summer soiree. | Photo By Kayla Esparza Photography | You might know Khali as KMT Photo! It is always an honor when another wedding industry professional trusts us with coordinating and designing their own wedding! Khali and Ryan deserved to truly enjoy their wedding. We helped them build in time to enjoy each moment, have fun transitions, and find the rentals and vendors to make their vision come to life. Not only was it a GREAT time, but it was full of little personal details. Their color palette played with soft peaches, pinks, and neutrals. Their pups, Charlie and Oscar, snuck into their bar menu and even had a "seat" at the sweetheart table with framed photos. Since Khali herself is a wedding photographer, she wanted photos to be a prominent facet of the day - she made a selfie mirror for guests, armed her bridesmaids with polaroid cameras, and celebrated with a photobooth. To kick off the dance party, Ryan and Khali surprised their guests with a CO2 Cannon - if there's anything guests will remember, that is bound to be one of them. SO MUCH FUN. Emily and Les' September wedding had the most beautiful and vibrant fall color palette to contrast against the greenery of the venue. This outdoor Seattle garden provided a beautiful setting and backdrop for ceremony, and their nursery was the perfect spot for reception. We loved all the personal touches to the party - Emily and Les ended the night with a McDonald's, bubbles, glow wands and smiles. Truly an amazing night! July 2023 | This one is for all the mountain lovers and PNW couples - A stunning mountain view at the highest wedding venue in Washington featuring peach and blue summer florals. | Photo By Erin Perkins Photography | To put it simply, the Crystal Mountain Resort is a one of a kind venue that will leave your guests talking about your wedding for YEARS. It incorporates adventure, elegance, and surreal views of Mt. Rainier, Mt. Baker, Mt. Saint Helens, and Mt. Adams. To get to the top, guest get to hitch a ride on the venue's gondola - 10/10 transportation! Up at the top, Chris and Chelsea brought in pops of peaches and blues and incorporated details really played to the vibe of the venue. Their welcome sign was the cutest recreation of a National Parks sign, their cake featured gold-brushed evergreens, and their custom "Just Married" ski's fit right into the theme. It was so fun, so airy, and so colorful! The semi-DIY signage, the table setting and the flowers came together perfectly - one of the perks of having a full service planner on your team! It looked even better than the design board we helped them created. Their whole day was packed full of tangerine, yellows, pinks and periwinkle blues. To add to the summer fun, L&B also opted for gelato for dessert - and in fashion, too! The moodiness at the Evergreen was unreal, completed by the dark linens and sprawling greenery. Notice the dreamy details like the organic floral arrangements, custom lighting and moody ambiance. When having two venue locations like J&N, it's essential to have a coordinator or planner who can ensure set up goes smoothly at both locations.
