Talk about a fairytale! Thornewood Castle is one of our favorites venues in Washington, with it's romantic gardens of blush and pink flowers and the charming, Tudor-style brick house. The 500-year old house is amazing for endless photo opportunities, and there was absolutely no shortage of stunningly captured moments from Mariana Tey Photography.
To really give the ceremony space a fairytale feel, we went for eccentric, mismatched white chairs and utilized the spaces unique features for framing. Maria's Florals (Floral Design by Maria) complimented the garden flowers perfectly! We hope you notice the romantic pinks we spaced throughout the light tables, the perfect pairing of modern stoneware & vintage, textured glasses, and the artfully staged cake-cutting table (our favorite!).
